In recent weeks and months I am constantly reminded that I am truly blessed. All I have to do is read the newspaper or turn on the news to be reminded how much worse things could be. From the crisis in Haiti to the heartbreaks and pain in the Olympics to being named one of America's 10 Worst Cities, I would say we have it good. We haven't been devastated by natural disasters or rampant crime, or crashed onto concrete hard snow going 60+MPH. Yes, we have had our fair share of business-related stress over the past months, but things are beginning to look up. In fact, I have found that the best cure for stress is to stop focusing on ME and MY STRESS and take a look around me. Certainly, there are people with far greater worries. Why not turn our attention to helping them?

After months of planning, SharePoint Saturday Indianapolis went off without a hitch on January 30th. In addition to being a corporate sponsor, Ambassador also had several employees participate either on the steering committee or as a presenter. The response to the event was tremendous…over 370 people registered and 8 companies sponsored. The attendee feedback was overwhelmingly positive and SharePoint Saturday is certain to become an annual staple in the Indianapolis IT community.
