Ambassador Solutions is pleased to announce that three of our employees have been selected to speak at SharePoint Saturday Indianapolis on January 30, 2010.
Kevin Dostalek, VP of Innovation and Education, will be presenting ‘Social Computing with SharePoint 2010’ within the Business and End User track. Dostalek will explore the many social computing features in the new platform including improvements to MySites, Search, Blogs and Wiki’s as well as look at new features such as Social Bookmarking, Tagging (folksonomies), Comments, Ratings, and the Activity Feed. In addition to the feature review, Dostalek will also discuss the business case for social computing within the enterprise and key considerations as you formulate your plans.
Andy Hoffman, Senior Consultant, will be presenting ‘Making Access and Excel Services Work for Business’ within the No Code to Trusted Solutions track. Hoffman will discuss how Microsoft is making it easier for the knowledge worker to own and manipulate their data in SharePoint 2010 as well as how Access Services poses new challenges to IT departments and value propositions to business users. The presentation will address how the new features of Access and Excel services empower information workers to own and manipulate data.
James Curtis, Senior Consultant, will be presenting ‘Introduction to Client Object Model’ for the Developer track. The presentation will offer an overview of the Client Object Model for SharePoint 2010 that shows how to natively connect to the SharePoint API via CLR, JavaScript and/or Silverlight.
Dostalek, Hoffman and Curtis are joined by 19 other recognized SharePoint professionals from around the country who will be presenting at SharePoint Saturday. Currently, the event has over 300 people registered and that number continues to climb daily.
