Ambassador teammates, families, and friends of the firm gathered to assemble shoebox gifts for children around the world through Operation Christmas Child. 2006 marked the first year of this endeavor, where 35 boxes were donated. This year, with 106 packed shoeboxes, Ambassador more than tripled the 2006 number, and surpassed the goal of 100 by 6 boxes.
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. This program of Samaritan's Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands—on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ.
It is a joy for Ambassador to participate in such a project, and we hope to continue the tradition again in 2008.
