Ambassador teammates, families, and friends of the firm gathered to assemble shoebox gifts for children around the world through Operation Christmas Child. 2006 marked the first year of this endeavor, where 35 boxes were donated. Last year, the Ambassador team packed 106 boxes. This year, the Ambassador team nearly doubled that amount with 205 boxes.
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. Since 1993, more than 61 million shoe boxes have been packed, shipped, and delivered across the globe. This program of Samaritan's Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ.
It is a joy for Ambassador to participate in such a project, and we plan to continue the tradition again in 2009.
