It’s a new year and many of the employees at Ambassador Solutions have resolutions to live up to! Starting on 1/16/09, Ambassador is beginning a 9 week Biggest Loser competition. The competition is open to any employee that wants to participate, whether they feel they have excess pounds to shed or just want to join in the fun, provide moral support, and improve overall fitness level in the process. Over 20 employees have already decided to accept the challenge.
The 9 week contest runs from 1/16/09 to 3/20/09. Participants contribute an entrance fee that will be collected at the initial weigh-in. The collected fees will be awarded to the Biggest Loser at the end of the 9 weeks, along with a $250 gift certificate to Dick’s Sporting Goods.
The winner will be determined by calculating the largest percentage of weight lost. Participants must weigh in initially (to determine starting weight) on Friday January 16th, and subsequent weekly weigh-ins will be each Friday.
Ambassador Solutions is thinking long term and is offering further incentives. Those who participate in the 9 week competition and lose at least 5% of their original body weight during that period and keep the weight off for 6 months will receive a $50 Visa Gift Card. In addition, the person who loses the largest percentage of their original weight in 6 months will receive a $500 Visa Gift Card, second place will receive a $200 Visa Gift Card, and third place will receive a $100 Visa Gift Card!
