Ambassador Missions

Giving Back:  In Business For Life

Ambassador Solutions is committed to donating a significant percentage of our profits to worthy causes around the world.  We like to think of it as being “In Business For Life”.  Currently, our charitable activities are funded through a special Ambassador Missions account.  The purpose of Ambassador Missions is:

To give of our time, talents, and treasures so that people around the world may know and experience God’s best for their lives

________________________________________
As we seek opportunities to fulfill this mission, the following principles guide us:

• Getting involved is just as important as giving money
• Most of our resources should be directed towards organizations that are not widely supported by the general public
• We are partial to organizations that Ambassador teammates and constituents passionately support, provided doing so is in harmony with our giving principles
• In hopes of encouraging a charitable lifestyle, we particularly want to support the children of our teammates and constituents whenever they are passionately involved in charitable activities
• We want to set a good example of corporate stewardship and individual involvement in charitable activities, while encouraging others to do the same
• We will strongly support pro-life organizations and withhold support from any organization that does not respect the sanctity of all human life
• We will give cheerfully with grateful hearts because “God loves a cheerful giver”     (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Here are some of the organizations and causes that Ambassador Missions has supported in recent years:

They are the guiding principles that direct our ministry activity. These are the non-negotiables which we consider to be of utmost importance.

  • Preeminence of Christ: Intimacy with Christ is paramount, and all that we do must emanate from our life in Christ and His life in ours.
  • Life-on-Life Relationships: We value the process of committed one-on-one relationships for evangelism and discipleship.
  • Teams: God calls us to work together in teams in order to multiply what He wants to accomplish through us.
  • Generational Spiritual Reproduction: The goal of the discipleship process is spiritual reproduction to the 3rd and 4th generations and beyond.

Samaritan’s Purse
www.samaritanspurse.org
The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a clear picture of God's desire for everyone to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, "Go and do likewise."  For over 35 years, Samaritan's Purse has done its utmost to follow Christ's command by going to the aid of the world's poor, sick, and suffering.

Samaritan's Purse reaches hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, earns us a hearing for the Gospel, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ.  Samaritan’s Purse is well known for their “Operation Christmas Child” ministry, which sends shoeboxes full of toys and other necessities to children around the world.  Ambassador Solutions was able to donate 36 boxes to the organization in 2006.

As leaders get to know teenagers, they are able to share the love of Jesus Christ through platforms like Young Life club, Campaigners and trips to camp.  Whether kids are seeking answers or just acceptance, Young Life is there for them, armed with a desire for fun and the ultimate message of hope.

Today, they still focus on youth, and also involve people of almost every age (even many people who choose to spend their "retirement" in active service). Their many ministries fit into three main categories: evangelism, training and mercy ministry.
